I do not think that this is against the NDA, but for those of you that have given it a try, how has the performance been at your (please state) resolution and card (please mention)?

NDA blip - There are alpha reviews and walk throughs by both professional and amateur media currently. Some even sponsored by Ubisoft. It's a very open alpha. I believe this information is just fine from what I have read and observed thus far.

I would like to mention that anything discussed here correlates to the state of the game's performance at the version correlating to the post and in no way represents the final version of the product unless otherwise stated. :nailbiting:

I have yet to try it. But want to before Alpha ends. Great reviews thus far! None of the Alpha coverage has mentioned a blip about performance so I'm guessing that things are running great. The game looks very good, maybe in the realm of Far Cry 3, but perhaps quite CPU intensive depending if the AI for multi-player is server side or client side and by all or one client.

What has your experience been performance wise?
 
I couldn't find the graphical settings but all I can say is that it was butter smooth on my 980 ti @ 1440p with whatever settings Ubisoft set for me. Over 60 fps. And yes it's quite pleasant on the eyes :) I do like the combat system and how it plays out with mouse and keyboard, definitely looking forward to the actual release.

the website specifically states there is no NDA. it even encourages chat and streaming! so blab away!

in the other thread someone stated that's it only requires dx9 so I imagine that its not that demanding. looks good though! I signed up for the test but didn't get a code. :(

Have not been able to install this for shit. No option to download and it is not in my games list despite getting an invite and accepting.

Apparently there are more people having this issue.

Looks like I'm going to miss out on this weekend's alpha test. Hopefully there will be more or beta very soon. Hope I'm not punished going forwards for not being able to log in :(

For me it was in "hidden" games on Uplay - did you have a look there?

Yeah I ran across that page where it plainly said that last night. Didn't think to screenshot it here and update it the post.

First alpha I've ever seen or participated in that's been SO open. Seems more like a demo!

Either they are very confident in the game at this point which is great (other games and early access titles should take note), or the Alpha was a demo used as a marketing ploy.

The alpha didn't have much content but is incredibly stable from what I've gathered and seen!on top of that pretty much everyone is loving it.

There was some other sword swinging game a couple of years ago that was supposed to come out that never did. Or maybe it did and fell off the radar.

Unfortunately it is not under Hidden Games. Which is weird. The Division is there.

I tried posting on the official For Honor forum, messaging the community manager there, and tweeting him for help as he has "need help? Contact me here!" in his signature over the weekend. No response.

Having worked in the industry, would have thought they'd have the support forum manned over the beta weekend. Or at least a reply by now. Never got a response, a reply, zip, zero zilch.

Suppose it could have been missed. Just expected more.
