I'm not sure if we have lost a folder here at the [H]. This will be from their point of view.

The other day I wanted to write these thoughts down. I'm by no way a writer and I sent it of to relic to see what he though (and to make sure he knew I was not trying to copy him)

He suggested I post it and let the rest of you decide if you like it.

Again, I have a Finance degree not an English degree, be nice ;)

There is no panic or fear
As the dragon draws near
It cannot be seen
Because there is no one place it's been

I look at it with cold resignation
I will not falter in my dedication
What we all fight
Has come for me this night

Do not mourn or cry
Or ask the heavens why
Go forward in dedication
But remember this meditation

We are of one cause
We fight without pause
What has stricken me
Will continue on contemptuously

We will win this fight
There is no may or might
My time is out
This however is not our last bout

Fold onward without me
This is my plea
Stop this monster is my behest
Then truly I may be at rest

 
It's great. I agree perfectly from that view point ;)

That's nice, Kendrak. I used to write some back in my younger days, but I have to be in a certain mood for something like that to flow much, and it hasn't hit me in a *long* time.

Regardless...keep up the nice work, and thank you for sharing. :)

My wife is almost fluent, she can teach HS French if she wanted to, she has the cert for it.

Oh boy, I once dated a girl who could have easily passed certification for french kissing if there were such a thing. :cool:
 
I think the ability to do poetry is proportionate to the amount of beer consumed. :) Well at least in Kendrak's area it is :p hehehe Good one Kendrak!

Poetry is an arena where I really can’t compete unless the muse is well upon me. About the only thing to bring back the muse is a proper bottle of……booze, and some calming music.;):D

My poetry skills suck.... big time. When you guys write this stuff, you make it sound so easy, so flowing and.......poetic:p
