I happened to be glancing at the Eizo site in relation to another thread here, and noticed the Eizo 2133 is listed now. Previously it was just listed on Eizo's Japan site.

Anyway, here is the link to it, if anyone is interested:

They also updated their 19" models with the S1923.

Interesting things about both are the fact they are now LED rather than CCFL, probably making them the only IPS/VA models at those ratios to use LED. And their contrast ratios are quite good. The 2133 using IPS has stated contrast of 1500:1. And the smaller VA is listed as 2000:1. I am curious where they sourced the panels from, as I didn't think LG made IPS in that ratio anymore .... nor knew of a VA at that size (w/ 2000:1 or higher contrast).

I expect they'll be insanely priced, but I just thought it was interesting that they were released at all. Those sizes can be decent for secondary displays.

Nice. The 21" size makes it a perfect match for sitting next to a 24" 1920x1200 monitor as well. Hopefully someone else will use this panel in a slightly more affordable monitor.

That's my thinking too. I have a 21.3" next to my 24" now, and it's decent enough. Although I did underestimate one thing with CCFLs... during the summer, with both on, they do put off a decent amount of heat. I sometimes feel like I am melting. I wouldn't mind a newer 21.3 LED to pair up instead.

Or I wait 2-3 years until these hit the used market, then pick one up then. Knowing how Eizo prices tend to be, I expect a new 2133 to be around $800+, which is much more than I'd want to spend on a monitor that size.

I'd like to see Prad or someone do a review of this eventually. Primarily to see how the AG coating is, glow, and PWM. One downside is the fact it's insanely bright, so to get usable brightness one may have to lower it quite a bit ... and not sure if that would make it more flickery or not. Ideally they would have made it PWM free, but, they didn't. The 1500:1 contrast is pretty unique, and I'm curious if it's accurate, as I have never seen an IPS or PLS panel with a stated contrast that high before.
