Followup to a Troll thread

Since I've been publicly called out here at [H] in THIS thread, I wanted to post the results of this transaction publicly as well. As you can see, I responded the same day to him in the thread. Additionally, to his last Email, to the PM from a Moderator ready to ban me (no [H]ard feelings CDS, you were just doing your job-thanks), and a call to his personal number leaving both my work and cell numbers.
This trade was originally for a 3400 processor and DFI LP board for an Antec P180 case thats a display unit in our shop. A small dent in a sidepanel was photo-ed and preapproved by Jason. I still haven't had a chance to mount the mobile 3400 on the DFI board (which came in an Epox box with 2 cables and backplane only) due to the Holiday crush at the shop. Its just time.....no personal problems and 'the dog ate my homework' BS excuses here. Nonetheless, I won't be sending the damaged case we aggreed upon. You will be getting an UNOPENED new-in-box P180 instead from inventory. This will be sent USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation (all I use) this morning (12-17) and if the thread isn't locked I will edit this post with the tracking number when its available.
CDS did a proper followup, so you good traders should know that the Mods here do work for you to help if things go south. To the people that responded in the original thread with support thanks, its appreciated.
Normal Priority delivery is 2-3 days so that puts the completion of this entire coss-trade at 9 days........ so I'll leave it to y'all to decide who's a Troll here.

EDIT: Per my earlier statements the new case was sent out USPS Priority 12:10 CST with DC#:

If you didn't notice everyone in the thread already basically said they didn't think you were a troll and figured something came up...
 
what did i do that was wrong?

and regardless of whats in the box sir, you have certainly come out ahead in this trade.

i would like to publicly issue an appology for worrying about not getting any information from toonage during the week and posting about it. i am very sorry that i had no idea that you had no time at all to tell me what was going on.

you sir, toonage, are clearly the bigger/better man in all of this. i am clearly just a troll.
 
I do not believe Toonage accused you of doing anything wrong. He obviously feels bad about what happened and is making amends for it. Ha also obviously feels afronted that he has been called out as a troll in your "I think I've been trolled" thread.

Jason, I do not know Toonage nor have I ever traded with him but his response to your thread has been most impressive. You see, there is a danger in creating a Troll thread that can come back to haunt the Original Poster (i.e. the one who claims trollage). In many cases the OP will call troll WAY TOO EARLY and on an experienced, highly regarded trader. Did you jump the gun? that's a matter for debate but I have never created one of these threads just because the backlash can be most unpleasant.

Toonage is making good on the deal, in fact he is making it better. You can close out the deal on a positive note by leaving him a glowing positive Heat (if you feel he deserves it).

It looks like the deal is going smoother then it did, so for now ill lock this as Jason has locked this, if anything arises PM me and ill open this back up.

For the record, i cant ban anyone, but the Admins can if the need arises, for now it doesnt look like theres any need.

Hope this finishs off on a good note
