I dont know if this has been posted before but ..............

I came across This article in the New Scientist.
Foldit
FoldIt is an online game in which humans try to solve one of the hardest computational problems in biology: Protein Folding.
Because you can see how parts can fit together better than a computer, someone has turned folding into a distributed computing game.
