Folding with nVidia vid card?

Nope... not yet.

The GPU client is ATI only right now, but you never know.....

 
We would have seen it by now, the gpu client has been ATI only for over a year so the best bet is that it wont be comming out.
 
Stanford is working on a NVidia client. It will take some time though. I wouldn't hold my breath

 
Complete speculation, but it looks like Stanford all but scrapped the GPU1 client code and started over with the GPU2 code (DX9 to CAL), and it shows that Stanford will do what it takes to make a GPU client work, provided they get good help from the GPU vendor. And to help explain the long delay for an NV client, obviously any GPU1 code on DX9 that was started for the NV cards would also have to be reworked significantly or discarded as we move to GPU2 and whatever the CAL equivalent is for NV (it is NOT CUDA!)

It took a year and a half to go from GPU1 to GPU2, and that was with a lot of help from ATI. Hopefully the progress made in the last year with ATI has also helped to make progress with NV, and I hope we won't have to wait another 18 months for an NV client. But I do know that work on an NV client continues. :)
