I'm trying to download the folding at home SMP client but every download I get a message saiyng "the data section of this self-extracting file has been damaged. (CRC Error:Should be:F02E7018, is:97CA40B0)"

Anyone know why this happening. I've tried it both on FF and IE, and both come up with the same error. Also rebooted, same thing.

Linux client or windows?

I'd say try clearing out your temp internet files in IE/FF, and then try redownloading. I've noticed that at times, if a download doesn't complete properly, the temp file will still be stored, and will continuously call up errors. Clearing temp files and retrying usually fixes this for me.
