Folding on 2nd GPU.

I have gone threw the setup thread but I just can't get the client to run on the 2nd card.

I get an error that says " Folding@home has run into a serious error running the core. and will shutdown"

My setup:
e6400
Abit aw9d-max
4g ram
2x ATI 2400pro
fresh Vista Ultimate 64bit install.
Newest client and ATI drivers
1 monitor connected to the first card with DVI
-forcegpu ati_r600 used for 2nd client
The first appears to be working fine.

If this has been covered please forgive me and point me to where I need to find the info. Thanks

Have you tried -gpu1 for the second one ...

Did you make sure to expand your desktop?

I tried but I only have the one monitor so I can't expand it.

You need a dummy plug for vista.

Can some one link tigers guide?

This is your problem. The client needs to think there is a monitor attached.

Solution is a few 75 ohm resisters and a DVI to VGA adapter that should have come with the card.

You bet it works. I have an LCD monitor that has DVI and VGA cables. I hooked a 8800GT to each. Loaded the second card's driver (via device manager), extended the desktop, and got the gpu folding software on as per the GPU guides and it works great!

That appears to have worked. It looks to me like I am folding on both cards. Thanks for the help.
