Is there anyone folding at multi-locations and running FahMon to monitor all boxens from one computer?
Another words tracking all computers over the internet.
 
From what I know, FAHmon can only monitor on your local network

HOWEVER Ive seen people that fold off site that have FAHMon auto dump a file into a folder that is hosted online, so Its the closest thing youll get to real time FAHMon on the Web for foreign clients

I'm sure others can chime in here.... Also, you could do like me, and just remote log in to each remote site. I close everything else, start folding, and leave FAHMon fullscreen as the only thing running. Then all I have to do is log in and I can check everything on that machine. If you set the rig to auto-login when you restart you can also make all changes necesary incase you need to do basic level maint on the rig

Ahh.. auto-login! That's a good idea. I check my machines at home from work all the time through remote desktop. But it's annoying when my GPU client hangs on sending/receiving a new core and it needs restarted, but you can't start the client using remote desktop (known bug with GPU client). So restarting the rig remotely and have it auto-login upon restart (with the GPU client shortcut in the Start Up folder) would be a good work-around for this!

While I've not implemented FAHMON to monitor any of my stuff, I understand there is ftp support to monitor your results. I imagine you could upload the data to a central location and compile it from there. Seems like EvilAlchemist also has a web page to monitor his boxen, and I think he uses FahMon to do that with. Check here...

Awesome, I will have to work on this the next couple weeks.
My daughter moved into a 2 bedroom with all utilities included.
I told her if I could use part of one room for computers, that I would pay for the internet for her.
Looks like my electric bill won't be going up when my 3 - 9800GX2 and 3 - 9600GSO come online! And maybe another GTX 275.
 
good lord man, I wish I could buy that much all at the same time. I bought one GX2 and now I'm trying to scrape things up so I dont have to sell it again :(

I need one more for my 4 slot motherboard.
8 gpu cores on one board is going to be nice.

Ahem....make sure you use that motherboard well ;) Also, you might wanna do a little more research on using 8 GPU cores under Windows as well. I don't think thats gonna happen based on the stuff I read in the past.
 
If I were you, for heat and power and windows reasons, I'd throw a 8800GTS or other 128 shader card in there and finish out that rig with 7 cores. You could put it whereever your hotest GX2 is so the dualies get their most cold air

regardless, I wouldnt count on my GX2 for the last slot ;)
but I will haver to sell my 9600's, I was hoping to give one away as a prize but maybe later

Yeah, thats pretty awesome looking. Problem is he still can't get more than 4 cards to recognize for folding, so for right now it's pretty much eye candy. Would be *very* inspiring for a lot of folders out there if he could work out the details and issues with the MB and BIOS so this could be successful.

NVidia driver limitations are still a major issue for most at this point.
 
I use fahweb along with fahmon to monitor a couple of boxes that I borged at my Aunt's home office.
All that you have to do is register on the fahweb website and follow some easy instructions to get up and running.

Here is my personal stats page to give you an idea of what you will see.

 
8 GPU's are easy, you've just got to run XP.

I dont know if its a Windoze or driver issue but you hit a limit at 8 monitor outputs.
As Vista sees 3 outputs per dual card, you hit a limit at 2.5 cards or 5 GPU cores.
XP only sees 2 outputs per dual card, so yo hit the limit with 4 cards or 8 GPU cores.
