I tried posting this in the FS/FT forum but dont have the minum post necessary. Ive had my old 2500+ cpu just sitting around in my closet for a while and figured Id donate it to the [H]orde for whom ever is willing to pick it up.

AMD 2500+
Shuttle AN35N ulta NFORCE 2 MB
geforce 6200 video card
Hercules fortismo III sound card
old thermalright heatsink, no fan but still have the clips

free to the first person living in Phoenix, Az willing to pick this up. First PM will have first rights. PM for contact info.

not to bad of a system.. im sure some one will take a grab at it.. ive always been a socket A fan.. love those processors.. good luck..

Might be better used as a WCG boxen, it'll grab roughly 1k PPD most likely on WCG. If you're also offering shipping I might be able to pick it up and run it for the [H] Commandos....

Damm, do you ever make it to tucson? Or if you ship it to tucson (sans case) i'm glad to have it!!

im sure hed be willing to ship it if you guys cover the shipping.. because even for as old as that system is.. i still wouldnt give it away for free plus paying shipping on top of that if i was him..

What's the fastest Socket A processor that can be put in? I don't know if something that old is really worth the electricity to run. I have a Socket A 2600+ TBird system in my spare bedroom that doesn't work atm (needs a vid card) and i'm still debating whether or not to put in a Geforce 3 that I donated to a friend (but is actually sittin in his closet) to get that system running again for DC'in on.
