So I am folding for Team 33 which is awesome. I have added multiple PC's to this folding project which is fun. However, even though I use the same Passkey and the same nickname AND the same team for each PC I only see my first pc's PPD stats when I check stats at extreme overclockers or hardfolding. If I shut down that PC for a day the stats show 0 PPD that day even though my other 3 pc's have clients running constantly. What gives? Any idea's?

Thanks fellow folders

Check the client.cfg file (using NOTEPAD only if it is windows) to see if username / team is correct

That's assuming he's using V6 clients. V7 is different.

But yes, have you double checked, triple checked, that all clients are the same?

Thanks all for your suggestions. I will check into these options now. I actually have a total of 5 machines working on this now. 1 centos box, 1 vista box, 3 win 7 boxes. All the windows boxes are running that 7 beta so I am not sure if that client.cfg file exist but I will look. I will also try the passkey search.

So I looked up my stats with the pass key. That thing even says active clients 8 which is kinda re-assuring. I have removed this from one or two clients for various reasons this past month so that kinda adds up. But it does not show my PPD. :(

On my centos box here is my client.cfg.

[settings]
username=spy109
team=33
passkey=*************************************************
asknet=no
machineid=1
local=9

Passkey blanked out of course but I assure you it is the correct one. Anything odd in here? For the username... is it case sensitive maybe?

Thanks guys

Then you need to check v.7 client config to see if username/team is set correctly.
Wait for those who use v7 client to help though :D

Having just checked only a couple of your clients are folding under SPy109, nothing is under spy109 so something is amiss in your configs with your user name.

Go into FAHcontrol and hit the configure button - check to make sure that the username exactly matches SPy109 with no spaces after it

Hey thanks guys. I definitely had no idea it was case sensitive. I went ahead and updated all the clients including the centos one. Restarted. Now I will watch it for a good fresh 24 hours and see what happens. Got a good feeling that was probably it. w00t!

Gonna add another box soon. :)

Yep. I confirmed a large spike in PPD today. Case sensitive... ugh Glad someone told me.

Thanks again. And as we say here at the NOC... Close Case. :)
