Single Precision:
explicit - 25.664 ns/day
implicit - 119.684 ns/day

Double Precision:
explicit - 8.723 ns/day
implicit - 28.815 ns/day

At 1100/1375:
Single Precision:
explicit - 24.846 ns/day
implicit - 112.603 ns/day

At 925/1375 (stock clocks):
Single Precision:
explicit - 21.993 ns/day
implicit - 98.810 ns/day
