I'm currently deciding what firewall software I must pick to build a firewall. The only thing I want is to be able to fold while the firewall is idle. It's a P3-1000 with 512 Mb on a 3-4 computers network so I know the CPU cycles is wasted which could be put to good use. IPCop can have a folding client on it via a module but Endian has a nicer interface.

Since it's basically Linux, did anyone try to install FAH on Endian ?

I am a Linux n00b and I've never heard of Endian, but... my understanding is that if it's Linux and you have root access then you should be good to go.
I've folded on a Smoothwall Linux firewall without any problems.

Tried to fiddle with the box and I got it to run FAH on it... Now, every computer, even the firewall is running FAH :)
