Hello, I just started folding again on my main rig (a64 3200+) and my other (p2.4 HT) after about a year of abscense. No problem setting things up (including the 2 instances on the HT machine) with the exceptions of the a$hit motherboard in my other computer (see my rant ) and the graphical client I'm *trying* to use on my main rig.

Whenever I open the graphical client window my rig instantly locks up. Music freezes, and the screen only refreshes every 5-10 seconds. I can eventually maneuver the mouse to close the graphic box but its a PITA. When in the taskbar the client seems to run ok, but I'd just assume remove the graphical version and install the console client.

Is there any way I can save the work I've done on this unit, remove the graphical client, install the console client and resume where I left off?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I just uninstalled a couple graphical clients on some machines, loaded the text-only ones, and it seems like it just picking up where it left off. I just used the control panels Add/Remove Programs.

I could be wrong though ;-)

Just shut down the F@H client.
Delete the FAH.exe.
Install the new FAH.exe.
Update the shortcut needed to start it.
Fire it up.
Thats all I do when upgrading the client.

Luck......... :D
