If any of you downloaded movies off torrent, you will probably know what kind of files are in the folder (.nfo and the movie). Whenever I do something in the folder (dragging the file or opening them) my explorer.exe crashes. Only these types of folders crashes. I looked up on google and couldn't find any fixes that work for me. Anyone know what is going on?

I had the problem once when I was on XP. I had to edit a key down in the registry. If I remember correctly the thumbnail cache was getting corrupted, which in turn casued explorer to crash.

turn off thumbnail view
if you cant get into *that* folder, do it on another, and under folder options, tell it to apply to all folders
