I need to find a away to extract all the files out of hundreds of folders.

I have hundreds of folders, each one has at least one sub-folder (most have multiple subs).
Some are empty of any files and some have files.
How can I strip all the files out of these folders?
I don't know how to do that in Windows 7.
It would be nice to select all the folders in question and be able to see all the files contained there, without the folder hierarchy.

These are folders left over from a screwed up Music folder scheme used by iTunes and these have been orphaned. I'd like to pull all the files out and either delete if I don't need or sort back into my music collection. There seem to be some other file types mixed in there too.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

1. Go to the main folder.
2. On the search box (upper right), enter "*" without the quotes.
3. Sort the result by type.
4. Now all the files/folders are grouped together.
5. Success.

Thanks....for making me feel so small.

Sometimes I amaze myself.
