I ordered the G9x MW3 edition since it was cheaper, and it came with a free mousepad. Problem was they folded the mouse pad inside the package, I've had it under a heavy book for over a week now and it's still pretty badly folded.

I know heat usually helps with folds but I'm afraid of how the glue that binds the cloth to the rubber will react to it. Any suggestions?
 
lay it out in the sun for a while. or set it on top of the stove, while baking something.
 
I found a solution.
I went to Best Buy and bought a Rocketfish hard pad, and I put it on top of the folded mousepad.
Voila. no fold.
