I found that the hardware clock was wrong so the time was off.

I fixed that.
(edit)
I see that in console the time is different, why I wonder , i am fairly new to suse

( /edit )
Does this mean I just wasted four days of time?

Let me know.

Thanks

If you look at the Server Status page for F@H, it shows server #120 as Rejecting. I think when that server comes back up, it will take your work. Just leave it in the queue and wait for 120 to come back.

Thanks.

By default does the client try to connect to a different server to get new work if a server is down?

My linux box has not been able to get work units all day because of the server being down, is there a way for it to pick up new work from a different server?

If you click on the clock in your menu bar you can reset it as root, and change it's look and how it displayes.

the servers are not usually down for more than a day but they have also been updating them the last couple of weeks, so it could be longer.

I know it's hard to wait, but it will connect soon.

I had one boxen in the farm, running Win98, that spent from Friday to this afternoon trying to get a new timeless WU. I had tried starting and stopping the program (Graphics), tried the Console (no luck), and then deleted and reinstalled the Graphics client. On the second reinstall it got a WU. :) Perhaps my activities were evidence of superstitious behavior, or perhaps the reinstall worked...

Tobad thier isn't a way to have it point to a backup server. The windows version seems to work that way, but I use UDmon.
