I have a cd/mp3 player in my car, but would like to be able to take my zune with me. just wondering if anyone here has had good luck with any fm transmitters. i tried 1, but it failed miserably. i live in a major city, and there are a lot of radio frequencies taken. i've heard mixed reviews of the official zune transmitter v2. also, most i've looked at are about $75. are there any decent ones out there that are cheaper?

I tried a few cheap ones and wasn't happy. I finally decided to shell out bigger bucks for a Monster one. It's been great. I'm not a Monster fan because I think they are way overpriced, but I'm pleased with their FM transmitter.

FM transmitters are awful. What kind of car do you have. Does it have a CD changer input? If so, then there are countless companies that sell an RCA input adapter....

C. Crane makes a good one that I've been able to use in downtown Chicago and Detroit, but it's not cheap.

I have an iRiver FM transmitter, AFT-100 IIRC, I haven't since gone to downtown Chi-town or Detroit so I can't say how it does there.
