hi, i have an Athlon64 newcastle socket 754 on an Abit KV8 Pro....i'm overclocked from a stock speed of 2ghz to 2.4ghz... my problem is that i can idle at 40C yet i can run a game such as half-life (the first one) and come out of the game with a temp of 63 degrees C and this is only after about 10 minutes.. I know abit isnt the greatest for temperature sensing, but prior to the latest bios release my temps seemed more reasonable....
im using an SLK-947U copper heatsink with an 80mm smartfan at 5000rpm on top, which screams..... my guess is because of my shitty video card (GF4 ti4200) causing my cpu to do more work... any suggestions?
