Afternoon to all you watercooling pros out there...
I've recently upgraded my video cards, which of course meant I had to tear down the loop and reinstall everything. As I was doing so though, I noticed a bit of scale buildup in one of the fittings, and one of the hoses has gotten a little cloudy. Nothing in the pump, nothing anywhere else. But one fitting had a bit of scale, and two tubes have gotten a little cloudy. Water is flowing fine, at least according to my flow meter, so nothing's blocked up, but still. I'm using distilled water, so I'm unsure why there's any buildup at all to be honest, but it was enough to worry me and I want to clean the system.
What's gentle enough that I can add to the system to clean it out and not mess up my rads?
I ran a 50/50 water/white vinegar mix for about a minute and quickly changed my mind as the water turned blue/green and I freaked.
I need some guidance.
