how often do you guys flush/clean your WC system? and what do you use? I remember running radiator flush through my system once to see if i could clean up some of the gunk but i don't remember if it worked or not. I want to clean up some of my tubing and the insides of my rad.

I have my system apart right now as I got some new components to put in and discovered that my swiftech bayres had cracked on both the inlet and outlet so i'm waiting for a new res and thought I could flush my system in the meantime.
 
I dont have watercooling but how about a couple of drops of bleach in the water would probably help out with anything growing.
 
I usually flush mine a couple of times per year or when I upgrade something, whichever comes first. White vinegar does a good job. You can use it straight but I use a 50/50 mix with distilled water and let it run for a couple of hours or so, then I flush it with straight distilled water. That does the trick for me.
 
I called FluidXP to ask what to use to flush the system with FluidXP, they said to use Simple green
 
I only flush when there is a measurable degradation in my wc performance and then I do a complete disassembly of the whole loop.

Disassemble your entire loop and open up your waterblocks. A gentle douse of vinegar with vigorous scrubbing with a used toothbrush should usually clean most things up. If you have any corrosion due to Alu in your loop, use ketchup on the blocks and then brush away.

For your radiators, its best to use a submersible pump and just pump water continuously until your satisfied. If you can't get your hands on a submersible pump, then just pour boiling water into the radiator, plug it with seals and then shake it like a polaroid picture.

After everything has been scrubbed, just flush everything with distilled water and you should be good to go.
