Fluid XP

I would stick with distilled water. The advantages that fluidXP has in it's non-conductivity don't outweigh the disadvantages of price and performance vs. water with a bit of additive.

Ya you dont really need to go for that expensive stuff just test your water system outside of your computer for like a day or two to make sure their are no leaks.

your system shouldnt leak to begin with, if it does its probably user error :D

a good next question would be whats the best additive to put into water, as i dont know myself :D

redline water wetter is a nice additive

Only if you dont mind your lines getting stained and a stinky smell (no joke). I prefer straight antifreeze (like the prestone stuff). It is also easily obtained so you dont need to pay for shipping. It is green to boot (I prefer green coolant).

It is true that antifreeze can lower your coolant's efficiency to transfer heat, but only if you use it excessively. I usually mix only 5-10% antifreeze and the rest water.

Antifreeze is an anticorrosive and it kills bacteria/life to boot :).

distilled and zerex racing here...works fine...water wetter will impregnate tubeing..and it doesnt smell good...I just took the last I had and dumped it in my car...ill keep useing this zerex.
