hey guys, ive been having a bit of a problem and i was wondering if you could help. Ill be listening to music and want to turn the volume down, so ill do so, but once i get it to a level that i want and take my finger of the wheel, the volume keeps getting lower and lower until you can barely hear the music. it will stay like that for a bit and then somtimes get a little louder, go back down, etc. as soon as i touch the whell again, the volume jumps back up to the level I set it at. I was having the problem with winamp 2 so i downloaded the newest version and im still having the same problem. im running a sound blaster audigy card on a create 5.1 speaker system....any idea whats going on? thanks.

are you changing the volume within windows, or are you using a knob somewhere (aka on the speakers or on the keyboard like logitech cordless mx etc.) could be an old fashioned gravity issue

Its an adjustment knob that is part of a remote for the creative 5.1 system. somehow i doubt its gravity...the wheel seems to stay in position just fine but the volume goes up and down randomly. seems to be more of a software problem but im stumped...i might try plugging my speakers into my on board sound and see if the same thing happens.
