I was an idiot and wasn't paying attention when I was building the computer, and accidently forgot to remove the flab, and just pushed it down. I then preceded to push the drive in, and it got stuck about 1/2 way in. I can't get it to budge. I have been pushing from the rear, and also pulling from the front, but no luck so far. Anybody?

Alright here's what you do in step-by-step format

1. Get a big hammer - I mean big not small and wimpy
2. Position the hammer so it's 1/2 a foot - foot away from the back of the floppy drive
3. Swing the hammer downwards into the back of the floppy drive HARD
4. If floppy drive hasn't come out repeat steps 2-3 again till it comes out
5. Donate your life savings to me in a thanks for helping you out

I laughed.... out loud. :p

Me too, and I can't seem to stop. I swear this thread made my day :D

Maybe try GENTLY prying it out with two screwdrivers, one on either side.

Still have this dilema. It doesn't wiggle at ALL. I mean, this thing is jammed in there, and if I hit it with a hammer from the back, I will have to dent up 2/3 of the floppy compartment. Once I get my system together, I might just beat the thing out of their and send it back and say it was damaged.
