i bought a black floppy drive from pcclub about 2 weeks ago and when i got it home it was working perfectly, but then i had to RMA my comps mobo and take it to my uncle's house to get it checked out, he said he tested everything on this comp. So i got home and popped in a floppy drive w/ some word files on it and it tells me to format the drive, so i try to format it but it says'' disk cannot be formatted'' and i tried 5 other floppies w/ the same error message popping up. Does this mean i have a bad floppy drive? I am trying not to have to go out and get another one because my dad is tired of taking me to the comp shop. thanks in advance
