I wiped out my boot sector accidently. My windows installation is on the E drive. My windows boot disk seems to only want to start up to the C drive. I did a quick google but came up with nothing. Any advise on how to boot to E?

Let me see if I understand this right. You have windows installed on a hard disk that is set as the E drive in your system. You are using a boot floppy to start the computer?

What version of windows are you using?

Yes, XP is installed but on the E partition, not the C partition. Using a floppy boot disk from bootdisk.com

Which floppy boot disk from bootdisk.com?

If it is a 95/98/ME one and you are formatted NTFS on the HD, it will not see it at all. If you have the XP boot disk set, then that may be a different story.

Try booting from the XP Cd and doing a repair from there.
