Flickering background.

I have a question for owners of this monitor or even other models.
Open http://www.livescore.com in full screen.
Can you notice on the background a flickering light ? I notice that light on other LG models. On the previously FP937S+ I think it wasn't that flicker light. Anyway the monitor it's great but I don't know why it's that flicker only here.
 
you sure it isent scanline interfearance? Try checking your connections, moving/unplugging anything that might interfear like wireless devices. You can also try changing your refresh rate, and if your runing DVI, see if it still happens in VGA mode. Some other panels have "scanline" like issues and what you describe might be somthing similiar. The other models with this problem also use LG panels.
 
I have 2 speakers 2x15W near the lcd. Can this be a problem ?

In 1024x768 it's not flickering. Only in 1280x1024.

And I'm not using an LG panel, I'm on AUO panel. I've said that I saw that issue on a analog LG lcd.

Can be a problem with video card ?
 
I doubt the speakers are causing the problems. Try playing with your Refresh rate, make small changes in it if you can. like 60-62 hz and everything in between 60.5, 60.4 etc. And yes it could be your video card. It's hard to diagnose this kinda thing, if it bothers you to much try to RMA it for warenty exchange.
 
I'm using DVI connection and the refresh rate is fixed to 60Hz. If even I uncheck the option "Hide modes that monitor can't disaply" still only 60Hz will be available.

I was trying yesterday the analog connection and the results were the worst that I ever seen on any LCD.
I want to mention that for the moment I'm using a GeForce 6200 video card 64bits with 64MB PCX made by Asus.

Also when playing counter-strike for example ... in grey areas I've seen some TV interlaced effect. Why's that ?
