Flawed input lag testing methods exposed

I only glanced over the article, but isn't it saying that the accurate input lag figures are likely lower than what we've been getting through tests until now? Seems like a good thing to me.

Guess we can go ahead and disregard most of the older monitor input lag figures.

I have been testing what I believe is the ultimate input lag testing system that takes most of the unpredictable variables out of the loop.

It's a 2xAA powered device that generates its own tightly controlled HDMI output and measures delay between digital link data and display's photometrical output.
