I "can't" find a floppy anywhere. So I wanted to know if its safe or ok to flash a bios with my usb drive?

Edited!! LOL I cant spell

Asrock gives you the utility to flash from within Windows on their web site. I've done it lots of times and never had any issues. Just make sure you're not OCed and don't have any stuff running in the backround.

I also use the windows method for my Gigabyte board,
after killing it the floppy way (no idea) I'll stick to the windows flasher.

As long as your motherboard can boot from a usb, you'll be able to. Just check your 'start up' order, and if USB is listed as a boot option, put that at #1 and reboot. Just don't forget to put C: back as #1 to avoid having things in cd/usb on boot and having to wait or f1 past those.

Cool ill try the windows method. its a fresh install of windows so nothng will be in the backround.

I've actually read that flashing with a USB drive is the safest way to do it. YMMV.

I have a floppy drive. But its weird, all the stores in the area dont sell a floppy disk. Unless I want to buy a 32 pack. But wtf will I do with 32 of them when I need one and use it maybe 3 or 4 times.

Yes, you can use a USB flash drive. That's how I do it. Just updated my bios yesterday with my usb flash drive :)
