Flash Videos corrupted in Firefox AMD problem?

Strange issue I'm having with my cards as of late. I've seen this posted before but never chimed in because at that time I wasn't having a problem. However I recently upgraded to 11.5 and started noticing that whenever I play a youtube video or any flash video I get weird colored pixelation and at some times a green screen along with a nearly locked up system for a good 10 seconds along with a very slow moving cursor. Strange, I have since wiped the drivers off by removing the drivers, going in safe mode running driver sweeper. rebooting and going back to 11.4. The problem has continued, so I repeated the same steps and have now installed 11.5a hotfix along with the new 11.5 cap 1 and still see the problem. It doesn't always seem to happen so it's a intermittent issue. Today I thought I figured it out as when I set my antialiasing settings from anything other than application controlled it would cause it every time I was going back and forth with that to 100% confirm it and to post a fix here but now even at default settings there it still happens. Anyone have any idea what's going on, and a possible fix for this? Man was gpu accelerated browsing really that good of an idea LOL?

Nobody? Wow, that's crazy, I've even seen it posted before in the past. Is it possible there is no fix currently?

Hasn't done it all day today? Strange as hell. Anyway, gonna test in chrome and IE and report back but it isn't doing it in firefox today, what I'm going to actually do is wait until the problem comes back in firefox then try the other browsers to eliminate a possible browser issue or flash plugin issue and see if it is consistent across all browsers. Stay tuned.

if its happening in firefox make sure you disable the browser hardware acceleration support in the options/advanced/general tab. that option only effects the browser its self and not any of the video being played in the browser. but it can cause weird issues with some sites.

Seems really strange. Not sure what to do to fix it. A temporary workaround would be to use downloadhelper or something, download the flash videos, and then play them with your favorite media player(I use vlc). This provides less jerkiness to the videos for me, downloads faster, and I can re-watch it later quickly if I want to. The downside is that it doesn't start immediately.

Is this a Saphire card by any chance?

Try using ATI Tray to force the clock to stay @ desktop speeds instead of switching to 3D speeds and back to Desktop. I found when I forced the card in 3D is was solid.

I believe it's called 'Power Play'. Look into it!

I've had the GPU 99% usage problem with Firefox & hardware acceleration and had to turn it off. I have even posted here about it a little while ago, but since installing the 11.4 drivers the bug went away.

All has been smooth accelerated browsing since and all is well again.

No idea about the corruption problem... haven't installed 11.5 yet cause all is working well and I'm not feeling that brave yet...

I'm not seeing this issue, in fact, I've never experienced it.

Happened to me a lot, i've resorted to disabling hardware acceleration in the settings. The PC has no trouble doing it in software anyway.
