nothing but freaking issues with Flash in Chrome for 2 days now. it will constantly crash and I will lose audio in the browser. I have to restart Chrome to get audio back. now every Flash video just stops at 7 seconds no matter what. everything works fine in IE and this just pisses me off so much because I want to use Chrome. googling this issue just turns up useless shit spanning across years of similar problems.

Pepperflash built into Chrome works fine on my laptop with Intel IGP but not my desktop with discrete graphics.

This is what made it work for me:
1. Install Flash from Adobe
2. From Chrome, put chrome://plugins in the address bar, click on +details in the upper right
3. You'll see two Adobe Flash Player entries, disable the one with filepath C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\31.0.1650.63\PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll while keeping the other enabled
4. Go to the path mentioned in step #3 and rename pepflashplayer.dll file to something else like pepflashplayer.dll!
5. Close and reopen browser and test Flash site
