Hi Folders.

I am new in this forum, and have a few questions.

Witch flags do i have to add, to make the best performance for my machines.

The P4-C 2.4 is a HT, and have these flags:
-local -advmethods -forceasm -verbosity 9

The AMD machines have these flags:
-local -advmethods -forceasm -verbosity 9 -forcesse

Anything i can do, to make a better performance, all machines fold with out errors and i watercooled.

Best regards

On all machines, just run -advmethods and -forceSSE.

-verbosity 9 is just more info in your FAH logs. You dont need the -local switch anymore and -forceasm is for the older versions (not 4.00)

FOLD ON!!!

Are you sure about the lack of need for the local switch ?
If he's running more than one instance on the HT machine I think the -local switch is still needed.

On my P4C 2.4, i run with HyperTreating on, and this machine runs with 2 * folding like this, and every one 50%

C:\Programs\FAH\Folding
C:\Programs\FAH_1\Folding

And this maschine dont have the flag -local .!!

That's because your running 2 console clients. ;)

If you have a GUI client installed and then decide to add a console client without useing the -local flag in the shortcut that starts the console, the console client will find the registry entry for the GUI, which contains in addition to the user id# the location of the GUIs work folder, and start processing the same WU as the GUI. This will corrupt the WU when 2 clients try to simultaneously process the same WU.
