"Fizziling" issue with LCD

Hey all,

Well, I have had this mid-range SOYO 24 inch lcd for about 2 years now and recently it has started to act up. I really don't know how to describe my problem other than that it has random static like fizziling that runs horizontally on the screen. It usually only happens when I am playing videos and never happens during a video game. Also, the activity only occurs in the area where there is a lot of screen activity (such as ads and youtube vids).
I don't know if there is a fix for it and the warranty is well over by now. Just looking for any input to see if its going to go complety dead soon. If i get lucky i will record a video of it and post it.

Is it possibly the video player you're using?

Sounds like the inverter may be going on it. You could also have a wiring harness problem with it as well. It depends on whether or not the video issues are just with the LCD or the system itself. It can be difficult to discern which it is without actually seeing what kind of visual anomolies you are actually getting.
