This just bugs me, but how do I fix the times in the VM's?

Correct time right now here is 16:35

INTEL just downloaded the client not 1 hour ago, but it says it was downloaded 7.25 hours ago

Yeah, I actually want to fix the time in all of mine too. Even my GPU clients show the wrong time.

Bump for answers!

What Hypervisor are you using?
It might be set for UTC

Hyperwha..?

I'm using FahMon if that's what you're asking. I have it manually set to use -5 from UTC (Eastern time).

To set the date and time to October 25 2009 22:50
date 102522502009
so the format is MMddhhmmyyyy, meaning month, day, hour, minute, year

Taken from bit-tech. I'm pretty sure if you reset the VM you have to redo it but that's all I got...

Hypervisor =

VMware Player
Virtual Box
Hyper-v
etc.

Ahh, heh. I'm using VMware Player 3.0.0.

Thanks for the tip, Cypher. I'll try that when I get home on my VM. I guess the time settings for that are in the VM settings menu somwhere?

Thanks

To do my tip you just type root to login and then date insertdatetimehere. That's the only thing I've been able to find about notfreds and the time. I was hoping someone else would have a better answer.

My laptop GPU client is way off as well but I have no idea what to do about that one.

I reset my VM''s today in FahMon by going to FahMon-->preferences-->System , and I checked the "manually set time zone tto UTC+ (mine is 7) clicked "ok", closed Fahmon, then restarted the VM. Once it came back up to working again, I went to Fahmon again and unchecked the "manually set time zone tto UTC+" and clicked OK. Both of my clients are working smooth.
I downloaded a new work unit and Fahmon reported it correctly to the minute.

Cool, glad that worked, I'll try that too.

Now what about the GPU clients..?
