"Fixing" Message is stuck for me again

I get it randomly in the forums, which is annoying but fine if you refresh.

But if im submitting a comment and it comes up, it means what i've typed is lost, which is a real pain.

Control A Control C. Never not do it on any sort of web form.
 
Yup on the copy/paste. ;)

Aside that - I've had the same issues including this morning. Sometimes dropping www works, sometimes not. Seems pretty random and has been happening a couple days.
 
it's been happening for me constantly... every 5 mins or so it goes out for 10-20 mins at a time. Refresh does nothing to resolve the problem, neither does leaving out "www" from the addy bar.

very annoying.

It's the same with firefox and IE.... i'll try checking from my phone the next time it happens
 
We think we finally have a handle on this.
 
Also a note on the posts, many times if you hit the back button, click in the post box, and do an undo (ctrl z) it will bring your text back.
 
I got hit with the problem today. Didn't work at all from the office after 2:00 Eastern. With www I got fixing, without I got the hardforum down message. Worked fine on my phone, and it's working fine from home. Also www.hardocp.com wasn't updating but hardocp.com was. Seems like a strange DNS issue.
 
The forums were turned off for hours today. You were likely seeing cached pages on your phone. We just turned them back on about 30 minutes ago.
 
Just make 2 bookmarks, one with www and another without it, it works for me.

If this has already been mention, dont mind this.
