Fix dead pixels?

go for it, i have 1 stuck pixel on my monitor and rubbing it or just applying pressure to the area a few times almost like poking at it but not lifting ur finger works to get it to work again. though rubbing it out works too

:eek: LMAO, Me too, I have a red stuck pixel and its annoying so Im gonna try qadsan's little program he recommended...if it doesn't work, I guess either im gonna exhaust myself of rubbing one out or just forget it. :D BTW, this is not in anyway innuendo :p
 
the udpix program doesnt work.

not that it doesnt get the pixel unstuck but it doesn't run on either of my machines
 
I am running the UD Pix program overnight on two stuck pixels. Red and green. I don't really care about the green one because I can barely see it and it is a very mellow green. However, the red guy I really want to get rid of. I find it extremely annoying. I even named it after this annoying kid in the ninth grade. I call the pixel, Jonathan.


About the massaging, how much pressure, I am afraid of not applying enough, and for how long?

Mild pressure, maybe a little milder than you would rub your temples ;). Do it for about 5 seconds straight, then observe, then repeat 4 or 5 times if necessary, observing the entire time.

If it doesn't work you could always repeat the above steps, but it's likely to be in vain at that point, as my stubborn red stuck pixel has demonstrated ;) (fixed a green one though). BTW i got this info from the lumenlab forums where people would get frustrated looking at gigantic stuck pixels on a projected 100" screen :D
