Made a major boo boo. Forgot that I no longer have my old mobo... which had two pci-e slots

Currently have a Gigabyte EP35-DS3L and it only has ONE pci-e

I need to add another video card for 3rd display so I ran out and purchased a 4550 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...50&cm_re=gigabyte_4550-_-14-125-250-_-Product

Popped the case and realized that I don't have two pci-e slots. Yes. Moron here haha.

If I purchase an Asus P5Q, will I be able to fit both my cards? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131377R

Currently have a 4850 with Accelero S1 and Scythe 120mm fan on it. The 120mm Fan is BIG. Do you think it will block the 2nd pci slot? Otherwise, do you think it can run passive?

Just to update people....

Reinstalled everything but did a rushed job on my cpu cooler so I'm getting higher temps than before. That aside, my setup BARELY fits. 4850 with Accelero S1 with a Scythe 120mm interferes with the 2nd pci-e slot gfx card. The fan hits the soldered pins on the back of the 2nd card. Solution? I wedged some folded up paper between the fan and 2nd card, giving it millimeters of spacing :)

ya that board does 8x / 8x with dual cards so swapping will not change you at all, or you can take the fan off and run passive if you put a vented slot cover behind it in your case.

BTW, why didn't you just grab another 4850 to do Xfire with when not needing the extra displays, or just a complete upgrade to the 5 series and not buy a new MB?
