I just recently completed my first WC setup and after a few days my res, tubing, and barbs look like this:

I used distilled water with Pentosin G11 (1:10 ratio). Tubing is MasterKleer 7/16" which is extremely cloudy, almost like a fine powder. I did rinse out my radiator (Thermochill 120.3 with hot water before use.
I drained the loop to try and clean things up but I can't get the res clean and I wonder about the inside of the radiator as well.

Have I done something wrong or is this just normal for water cooling?

That's not normal. You must have had something in one or several of your components. Rinse and clean them out and flush a bit of water through them for a while then fill it back up and see how it goes.

use distilled white vinegar and soak all your components in it for an hour or so.

clean with distilled water (flush all tehe components) then repeat.

That white junk is almost certainly from your radiator... From my experience, if you're using the hot water cleaning method for your radiator, keep in mind that you need very hot water and lots of it (combining both flushing and fill&shake).

As far as cleaning it outta your tubing, you could go to a pet store and buy a flexible tube cleaning brush. Then again, the brush would probably cost more than your tubing did, seeing as how it's Masterkleer. ...and you're probably gonna have a hell of a time getting it out of your Swifty micro res.

Thanks all for the replies. Looks like I will thoroughly clean my radiator this time. I have lots more tubing on hand and I will just order a new MicroRes since they are so cheap.
This whole water cooling this has been a blast so far, I wish I hadn't waited so long to take the plunge :)

Definitely use some vinegar in the rad. What came out of mine was pretty gross.

Take your new rad to work like I did and flush it with hot steam condensate, which contains water treatment chemicals to boot :)
Flushed that puppy for an hour so no chance of anything foreign left in my new rad!

If you know someone at a petro chemical plant or any plant that has steam generation this is easily done.
