Thanks to all the people who answered all the questions I had as far as components and advice and all things related.

Here she is, my first watercooled system. Hard to see in the picture but there are 2 GTX's in the loop. CPU idles at around 31 at stock everything which isnt too bad. Still need to give the AS5 a few days to really settle in.

Its the mounting bracket that came with the swiftech kit. its got multiple mounting points on it so you can move it up or down a few inches and still use the screws that hold the case exhaust fan.



Main reason I decided to mount the rad the way I did was not for looks, I'm happy with the way it turned out but if i were to mount it like swiftech wanted the bottom fan would be getting hot air from the PSU which i didnt think was too good.
 
Question: What did you make the holes in top of the case with?

Also, are the rad fans connected to the fan controller? Seems like a long trip for the wires.
 
I used a drill and an 8/16 (i think) circular bit that i bought at home depot. Used the gromets that came with the swiftech kit. Yea rad fans are connected to the fan controller, long trip indeed but luckily the controller came with long extension wires so i just wired it along the top.

And i like how you mounted that raddy and ran the tubing threw the top

im either getting that case or a stacker 810 ...I cant wait to move everything from my chieftec to one of those cases

1. What did you use for the blue tone in the liquid?

2. Is that a matrix orbital unit in the drive bay? If so, which model?

Question: I notice that you're running an Asus A8N32. There's been a lot of discussion around the web about mounting those boards upside down. Apparently even Asus has come out and said that the heat pipe will not work correctly in that scenario.

What motherboard temps have you noticed? Seen any indication that the North/South bridges need additional cooling?

*EDIT* - typo - Asus said they will NOT work correctly.
 
Looks good, but doesnt the radiator get in the way of pluging things in? Like your monitor for example? I was lookgin at doing something similar but it seemed that the radiator would either be in the way of the video card or getting heat from the PSU..

??

Are the fans loud? being that they are outside of the case?

I'm tempted to get the CM stacker instead of the 2000 so I can put the radiator inside, but I don't like the design of the case itself as much...
 
It blocks some of the ports on the graphics cards but i only need one since i run SLI.

The reason i elevated the rad to that height was that for the sole purpose of avoiding hot air from the psu.

I have the fains hooked up to a fan controller and at the lowest setting they are very quiet. Infact so quiet that only now did i realize how loud my intake and exhaust fans were. I could never hear them before because i had a high speed120mm fan on my xp-120, but now i can clearly hear them and i think i might have to replace them with something quieter.


and to answer the question above about the temp of n/s bridges, i only see a 2-3c difference from my dads pc which has this motherboard running right side up.
