I am finally planning to go buy Water Cooler for my CPU and GFX card. Since this is my first time dealing with Water cooling, thus i think i should buy a whole KIT what u guyz say ?

ALso i looked at few but all of them have Water BLocks for CPU , But i need Watercooling for both CPU and GFX card. Right now i have GEFORCE 7950 GX2 but I am selling it on ebay and going to buy G8800 GTX as soon as it hit the shelves. Any input is great.

This seems nice kit but there is no Block for GFX card.

THIS is somewhat expensive, but alot better than most *premade* kits you can find.

If you're really willing... You can also assemble a nice kit for pretty cheap on your own, from the Danger Den store and the FS/FT forums right here on [H].

Never had water cooler before but i m sure if i buy parts i can assemble myself, Do i need case with 120mm fan space ? Because even tho i have Full size Tower case from RAIDMAX but max 80mm fans can be installed in there.

That kit has what's called a "radbox"

it allows you to mount the radiator off the back of the case without too much trouble. It's very handy!

And yes, sadly, 80mm radiators are NOT enough for CPU +GPU cooling, unless you have like 3 of them with a high-powered fan :(.

Wwwow. I just looked at your System Specs.

Gx2? There's only 1 known waterblock for a high flow system (what you probably want, as it's a bit more user friendly/cheaper) that works with the GX2, and it costs about 200$.

For the Gx2 and an X6800 CPU you're going to need at LEAST a 2.120mm radiator, maybe even a 3.120 if you want it to be *really* quiet...

Right now i have Asus GX2 but i m planning to sell it on ebay and Get Geforce 8800 GTX soon after Nov 8th.

Including so many different reason for Water cooling , one of them is my Case get really dusty often, I have to use Air Duster Can every after every few months. My Last ATI Radeon X1900XTX fan failed because of DUST and Died. And i really hate dust, i like Clean Case.

Well, mounting the Rad on the back really helps control the dust!

If you ARE going for a GTX, that makes things ALOT easier... It's got a main chip that works with the Maze 4 (I think, wait to see of course) and has another smaller chip off to the side... That second chip may or may not need alot of cooling, so we'll have to wait and see.

That kit I linked you, the petras kit will probably hold you on the X6800 and a G80...

If not here's my recommendation:

LGA 775 TDX waterblock with a DangerDen D5 pump (there's a combo deal on them right now): 108
15' of Masterkleer tubing: 10$
Maze 4 GPU block: 50$
Tline and Clamps: 10$
Black Ice Pro 240 or 360: 40-50$

That's just about 250$ shipped, and takes care of your system (especially the 360 radiator)

Additionally, most of these items can be had from the FS/FT forum right here... You're looking at maybe a 40% price drop on some stuff, 30% on most.

Sounds good, then lets wait till NoV 8th bcuz i m going for watercooler for sure. thx Arcygenical
