Ok, I am seeking ur opinion. I have 2 AGP systems... here are the specs :
- AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Winchester
- AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton
- MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum
- ABIT NF7-S Rev 2.0
- BBA Radeon X850XTPE
- BBA Radeon 9800 PRO

What do u guys think i should sell / keep? I wanted by better system in a shuttle.. i was going to buy an NF3 S939 shuttle but then i was told that dual slot video cards wont work unless i mod the shuttle. so now, im trying to sell all 6 of those items.. and starting from nothing.. so now my question is, since im new.. all SFF i really know is Shuttle XPCs... is there anything else out there i should consider? what do u guys think about this setup?

There are many shuttle clones and also mATX way to goo. Though I was allways Shuttle biatch. I've build so many of them and they all still work. Even my first one I've owned I've sold and it makes somone happy.

Mostly I hate onboard things but first quality onboard things that can work for years I'e seen on Shuttle XPC. Then ASUS and many other have started nice onboard things.

So I would go with Shuttle XPC.

Well If You are keeping stuff You can use single slot aftermarket cooler and go with a SN95G5. I have it and I'm very happy with it.

If You sell all go with a SN25P. I've just made 3 SN25P systems and clients are so happy. Well anyone wouldn't mind SN25P with 4200+ X2 and 2 GB RAM and 2x 250 GB HDDs and DVD RW.

All logic say goo PCI-e and P series Shuttle. It can last longer (PCI-e is still new) and it's bigger caries bigger PSU etc. etc.

On other hand if You need two systems You can go SN95G5 and use Your hardware till You save for complitly new system.
Although AGP is dead (if ATi doesn't make R520 in aGP nVidia will not make any 78xx series AGP) SN95G5 is nice. I have 4200+ X2 in it with 1GB RAM and 6800GT and it does good job.

If mATX Q-pack is mostly used option. People use Jetway mainboards and Asrock Uli (PCI-e and AGP) mainboards. Silverstone makes nice case too.

MSI and many others have good Shuttle clones. But once on a Shuttle XPC You will allways ask Your self and where is this or that on a clone. Still they cost mostly less.

well if you are looking at a64 3000 i say keep ur 3200+, its a great cpu
honestly a nice option would be to keep the 3200+ and sell everything else and get a SN25P and a 7800GT or GTX

but what if i need 2 computers?

exactly what are you going to use each comp for?
one looks like its going to be a decent gaming pc
what is the other one for?
that info would really help decide on parts
you can build a microatx system, that way the dual slot cooling would not be a prob.
check out the aspire x-qpack for a nice case
some new micro atx mobos are going to be released soon (the nvidia tforce chipsets)

for sure i think you should keep the 3200+ and the X850XT PE, both will last you for a while longer

the AMD Xp system is my family's comp that i use to watch tv.. and my main is to game which i use all the time
 
well a HTPC doesnt have to be spectacular performer
i still think that you could keep the 3200+ and the X850XT PE
if you can afford and want a higher end card for gaming you can get a 7800gt or higher end for the gaming system then you can use the the X850XT PE in the tv system
or you can keep the X850XT PE in the gaming system and get a X800gto for the tv system

also you can the use the 3200+ in the tv system if you want a better cpu for the gaming system.

also im pretty sure that the X850XT PE fits in the shuttle cases. As far as i know it it the ATI silencer hsf that needs a squeeze.
