I have a build i'll be putting together in a few days and i was looking for any pointers in terms of OC'ing it as well as my GPU. Listed below are the components

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
E6750
2 x 1gb Crucial Ballistix pc6400
AC Freezer Pro 7 & AS5
Corsair 650TX psu
Antec 900 Case
EVGA 8800GTS 512

I was kinda lookin for something in the 3.2-3.4 range, nothing too extreme. Thanks in advance :)

Make sure the PCI/PCI-E buses are locked at around 33/100MHz
Reduce the ram speed a lot and see how high your CPU will go.
Then do the same when clocking your ram (reduce CPU speed while testing), remembering that you can slow timings to get higher speed.
Once you know the max speeds, set the CPU multiplier, Ram multiplier and FSB to give the best combined clocks.

Read a few peoples experience of clocking your board as there will be useful nuggets of info to get that last bit extra.

thank you for the link to that FAQ, another question i had, with the AC Freezer 7 Pro, i understand it comes with MX-1 already applied, is it worth it to remove it and reapply AS5 or are the differences negligible?

MX-1 is as good if not better than AS5. Leave it on.

In my experience I got 3c lower by using AS5. Not that MX-1 isn't as good, I just think they had too much on there from the factory. I use the "spread it on with a credit card as thin as you can get it and have complete coverage" method. I'd try both ways and see what you get, if it's worth your time.

I found the MX1 paste to be superior to Arctic Silver Ceramique, I gained a few C when I refitted my cooler with Ceramique.
Numerous refittings didnt change anything.
