Ok, so this is what i have so far. How does it look? What should i keep, or what should be added? What kind of fans do you think i need? Thanks for helping me out!

I would add a DVD-RW, Power Supply. and probably a floppy drive for installing Win XP.

Personally I would do either scaled down 1 HDD or add another one for just the OS and nothing else. I would also either think about getting either dual 8800's or dropping down if price is an issue and getting dual 7950's. Dump the 2x512 sticks and just do 2 more 2x1 or scratch them all and do 2x2 gig for the RAM. Personal prefence for me for gaming as well is the AMD FX chips over the C2D. Also you'll need a good PSU around the 700w range, I like Silverstone. Add on an optical drive and either cooling fans or liquid cooling depending on how deep your wallet goes.

yeah maine. 2 gigs or 4 gigs for ram, not 3. power supply..something big like 700 watts or something....umm dvd burner like my boy said up top ^ maybe plextor?

floppy, just in case..they are cheap too

corsair HX 620 is the psu you want. It'll do everything you want. IT has enough power to sli 8800gtx's.

I'd scale back to a 2x1 kit

purely for price/performance, i would get the e6600 over the 6700, it overclocks very well on air and it won't cost you the premium.

A Silverstone Zeus 750 Watt PSU is 8800 GTX SLI certified, so that should easily handle all your power needs.

Case is awesome, I have one sitting to my right right now. Sidefan can be temperamental in my case, but it just needs a bump and it'll start spinning. Seems like it has problems off of the bat sometimes.

Like said before, you'll need an optical drive. DVD RW would be nice to have.

Definitely go for two gigs of memory, especially if you plan on using Vista. The performance boost is definitely worth it.

Maybe a RAID setup? The eVGA 680i supports hardware RAID-5, so that could be an option if you bump up one more drive.

I'd have to disagree with Pegasus in that the C2D have been proven to have better gaming performance than the AMD FX series. (Source: Extremetech)

Looks like a great build so far. Good luck! =)

Go with the 2GB kit and the Corsair 620W. Your monitor will determine which vidcard to get. Also, ditch the E6700 and get the E6600. Oh, and the Seagate 7200.10 320gb is faster than the wd5000ks drive, but the wd is quieter than the seagate.

-Yes, list what power supply you're getting, it so important, I'd throw a vote in for the corsair 620 as well

- Overclock, and thats not a question, I was new a year ago and I managed to overclock my first time. Just read up and do it, thus, do not get the e6700, get an e6600 and save 200$

- So now that you're going to overclock, lol, what Heastink and Fan are you going to use? Make it one where a 120mm fan is involved, and has been well rated (Tuniq, Zalman, Thermalright Etc...) http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=37&threadid=1723066

- Get the Seagate 7200.10...Sata

- GTS or GTX? What resolution do you game at? I would think a GTS would be great unless you're above 1680x1050...

- Go for no less than 2 gigs of ram, that corsair should be fine, Ram is my weak point, ask in the memory section.

Well, i meant the ST3320620AS was faster than the WD3200KS. Yah, the 500GB YS kicks ass, and so does the hitachi. The main differences between the KS and YS are that the YS is an enterprise drive, so its optimized for raid operation, goes through more rigorous testing, and supposedly cant sustain as many power cycles.

Yeah, I would skip the E6700 CPU and settle for E6600 cpu and get the EVGA 8800GTX card. Get at least 2 gig RAM for this setup. The Corsair 620 watt is sufficient to run this setup. It handles the loads well even with a dual GTX setup. But then, can't go wrong with a higher powered PS if you can get it at a good price. HD setup I'd have a Raptor 74gig as primary with OS and Apps on it, Then a 320 gig SATA 7200rpm drive or larger for backup.
