Well, it is because highest settings=DX10=8800...

Sounds a lot like the 9800 heading into Farcry only to get ~20 FPS. How do you think it will fair?

Console ports running on the PC will always perform like shit. It's not a test for the 8800 because it won't run efficiently and thus, it will not fully utilize the card nor the C2D.

It'll probably be one of those games that are graphically inferior to new PC games yet takes twice the hardware for decent settings.

Sweet, another PC port of a capcom game

*cough* RE 4 *cough*

Given the track record of previous Capcom games, I'm expecting a slide show on the recommended system.

well actually it all depends on the developer much like ANY game. (Jade Empire)

As for Capcom and RE4, I don't think they did the actual porting. I could be wrong. This time with the development tools on the 360 making it easier to port to PC, it might not be bad.

BAH! The real test of the 8800 series graphics cards will be CRYSIS in August (expected) 2007

capcom seem to be taking it seriously, with DX10 support for this and devil may cry 4 on the way. I am optimistic they'll do a good job.

Im realy hoping Capcom gets it right on this port. They have been one of my favorite companies for years and I always get excited over their pc ports. Unfortunatly every single one has dissapointed.

RE4 looks worse then on the gamecube and Devil May Cry 3 looked like crap on my pc. Im hoping they finaly turn it around with Lost Planet and Devil May Cry 4.
