Here we go. My first plunge into a SFF build. I moving from a laptop. Its a budget build with good bang for my buck.

Case: Thermaltake VF1000BNS Lan Box W/O handle or windows: 99$
PSU:Hipper 580 watt(The cable system should lend itself to a SFF machine) 89$
Motherboard: Abit NF-M2 NVIEW Nvidia® GF6150 89$
CPU: OEM AM2 Brisbane X2 3600 104$
Heatsink: XP-90 with a slow 92mm fan: 25$
Memory: 2GB kit Super talent PC 677 CL5 1.8volts 124$
Hard Drive: 2x250GB WD SATA II 16 meg cache Free already Have
DVD+RW: Samsung 18X SATA Burner 45$
Sound Card: Audigy II ZS 45$
Video Card: Used X1950XT 256MB or 8800GTS 320 320MB
Monitor: Dell 20" 2007 WFP LCD.

dont buy a hiper psu, they suck and the connections at the psu are too long

You are using the Ultra PSU. How do you like the new small 600 watt that is shipping with the Ultra case?

Should be fine, and better than that hiper. i would also recommend the corsair 520w or silverstone 500w short cable version

Silverstone makes a modular PSU where you can buy short cables for it. The ST50EF is nice too as it is an efficient PSU.

Still stuck on the LANBOX huh :p

Silverstones Modular PSUs are good but they are almost 7" deep. They just fit in a Silverstone SG-01 without issues. Microfly might be a little too tight. The Silverstone Short Cable 500W PSU is a solid choice.

Why the audigy2 ZS, the onboard sound should be more than adequate on that board. If i were me I would ditch the sound card and take the $45 you save and get the 640MB 8800GTS.

always liked a Sound card.

I've always preferred a seperate sound card myself. I'm curious, does the NF-M2 nView onboard sound match or beat the Audigy2 sound cards now?

Its close, but the audigy 2 ZS will still sound better. pul everything is hardware based.

I had an A2 ZS and X-FI and I could not tell the difference then, probally can't tell difference now. Also X-FI is 40% more as far as cost goes.

Another Lanbox'er i see. Not many in here have Tt Lanbox's

Also does a full XF-i card fit in a SFF cause i have one and its HUGE. defintely wont fit in my Antec SFF. I havent tried it in my Tt box yet.

Here goes my monster card
