First Pc Case Mod

Hey, Im starting my first PC case mod and I have a few Questions:
1. What can i use to fill in places on the front panel? Such as the Power/reset switch, led holes, and the design? Can I use bondo or is that too much and it will crack?
2. I want to make something like this http://www.xoxide.com/nzxt-nemesis-elite-case-black.html without the LCD and put my power/reset switch there and some USB and Firewire ports, but how should i go about doing that? If i make something out of plastic how will I fasten it down?
 
are you talking about the top or the whole case...

because that case is....yea...
 
im just talking about the top part of the case, i want to put something like that on an old antec case i have
