I have a dfi ultra D motherboard. processor is a 3000 venice core

I have it set at 8.5x233 = 1980mhz. processor seems to stay cool in nvmonitor but memory is at 466 and gm is 1131. I have no idea what those are but they are both in the red.

What are standard fsb speeds I can run to not work other things to hard? and can anyone tell me what your running at please.

at 1.4 volts i tried these combinations all which failed
240x8.5
240x9
254x8.5
300x8.5
300x8

at 1.45 volts

300x8 failed

what i mean by failed is it did not load windows.

anyone know the settings that wont stress other hardware. I guess I need more help trying to do this.

I'm still confused what the memory divider is. and for the htt I can't go below 200 where the review does 200 166 133 and 100?

the memory divider increases ratio of the ram speed to the cpu speed (read: makes the ram go slower) and this is the thing referred to at 200, 166, 133 and 100.
HTT is the 'base' clock of the system, somewhat similar to the FSB of old. it should range from 200mhz to 300-450mhz in 1mhz increments

i think you need to go through and read the beginning again.. thoroughly. if there is something you don't get, use google :p

I see that you are pretty anxious to get that thing OCed hehehe. I don't blame you one bit....but you really should take the time to read and understand the guide like Eclipse sugguested. If you still don't understand everything come back to ask. In the long run it saves some time and frustration. All these settings on the DFI board...it can get tricky troubleshooting stuff if you don't have a good grip on it. Also... I would stay away from the .5 multipliers at least until you know the limits of the hardware.

voltage is at 1.40 for the processor
multiplier is at 9.0

the HTT/FSB is at 220

for a total speed of 1980 I have read that and am still not getting the memory things. I was told by someone that I have to get my memory to also get to 220 now because anything after 220 is not stable even if I put more power to the processor.

can anyone please try to help me learn how to get it up higher?

in clockgen it says my memory is at 220 as well and the number goes the same as the htt when i raise it. I have noticed this seems stable so I changed it perminately in the bios for now, but I still can't go any higher.

did you read and understand the guide? that's about as much help as i can give without breaking it down into a billion steps, and holding your hand as we walk through it ;)
