Tell me if this is any good.

Not bad, but I'd trade off higher FSB for a lower mutiplier... My 285FSB 9x multiplier setup does that same 1M test in 33 seconds! I'm only running at like 2.59ghz too.

htt speed has no effect on performance for a64's..

what speed is the ram running at?

was it not stable at a lower voltage?

did you bump it -as needed- or did you bump it everytime you went up 20 mhz
:p

just sold this cpu, gettin an x2 4200+ in 2 days with a zalman, and some ocz platinum 4200 ram. Hop ehtat will be overclockable

congrats on the first oc...nice temps for a high voltage aswell...what were u using to cool it?

True, but I assumed that he would have used the 5:6 divider. It seems he's using even a more restrictive divider, if his RAM is running 50mhz under spec. In this case, it's tough to argue that extra memory bandwidth (from a higher FSB) would make no difference... (unless of course he's using some PC2700 or something). Right...?

i was using stock amd cooler lol

ordered a zalman w. artic silver 5 thermal grease with my new x2 though

and yeah i do think 2 of the crappy sticks of ram i have are pc 2700 but the new ones im getting are pc4200 i think
