Ok, so obviously I am waiting for bulldozer... you might be able to convince me to go Intel if I get something similar at the same price. 10$ shipping from Canada Computers is very nice.

Thanks for the help :)

What kind of rig do you have now? If it is decent I would just wait for Bulldozer to come out and make your decision then. Suck to want to upgrade to it to only find out the current Intel offerings are better. When were you planning on getting BD? If you were going to when it comes out I would recommend adding the say $200 onto this budget to allow for a Intel build as well. That SSD in there is going to block any chance on Intel being worked into this otherwise. Are you hard set on going Crossfire in the future? That PSU isn't worth it otherwise as its also eating up a lot of your budget.

Newegg.ca is not forgiving with shipping charges either...lol

Well, I'm running a laptop, so not much power there, as for crossfire, I don't see myself doing it in the near future, don't even have the thing. I don't know much about psu or how much I need so if you could give me advise on it it would be helpful. The way I see it for the processor do, its 200 for the mobo and the cpu, worst case scenario bulldozer tanks, and I sell both of them for 150 or so and switch to intel, don't know why but I really want to go AMD. Probably all the Bulldozer hype, but I'm fine with that.

Well I'll make up a build with that AMD version then. Any idea on the time frame you would grab BD?

Probably pretty close to launch, it really all depends if the system I buy feels fast enough or not.

Sorry I never got around to doing a build last night. That CanadaDirect site was not loading for me correctly and take 30 seconds just to do one page. I waited till this morning to see if it got better and it didn't, so I am going to do a build of another canadian store. If you want a computer now I believe you should just get a 2500K and be happy with it. I am pretty sure at this point the FX line of AMD CPUs will not out do Sandy, but come close so you are not missing out on anything. Though your budget is a bit limited, so I took out the SSD. You can add one back in if you wish though I would recommend just waiting on a hot deal and grabbing it then. If you really want BD I suggest just waiting for its release about 1-2 months from now.

Thermaltake Armor A90 - $88.06
WD Caviar Blue 1TB - $62.95
2500K Unlocked CPU & MSI P67A-G43 Combo - $339.99
DVD Drive - $21.15
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8GB 2X4GB - $48.17 - $3 coupon code on the page
XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB - $279.43
Antec High Current Gamer 620W - $76.99
Antec Kuhler H20 620 - $70.98

Total = $1,044.36 w/ the $36.64 in shipping no idea on the tax unfortunately as I do not know how it works on in the great North.
